I was over at the links this morning and i found out that Alex vh has been speaking to a radio station about a new album.
heres the post that i found:

This morning on my way to school from my apartment, I turned on the Indy rock station and Al was on being interviewed. Some highlights:
-They discussed how its ridiculous that people constantly fight about which era they think is better. Al said that Ed has always written all the music, and therefore, it's all Van Halen.
-Al was asked what he thinks about when he hears their songs on the radio, and he said that he has vivid memories of working on the songs in the studio, even from 25 years ago.
-He said his favorite song, which he will never turn off no matter what, is Stairway To Heaven.
-They talked about "Best Of Both Worlds" a lot. He said they mixed up the order of the songs so that it wouldn't be like they were differentiating between eras.
-Said Sammy is just like one of the fans, which makes him an extremely valuable part of the band. He said that the whole band, especially Sammy, keeps things real, which enables them to write music fans can relate to, cause they are all just fans themselves.
-And finally, the big finale, Alex said that they plan to go into the studio and record another album in the near future, which I thought was great news, but he could have just been talking out of his ass on that, but lets hope not.

This was then followed by a four page thread of Hagaritas just about sooking themselves off. hope its a load off shit, Im sure as hell getting tired waiting for dave to get back at the saddle.
