Hot off the rumor mill - BW&BK sources have learned that since VAN HALEN guitarist Eddie Van Halen fired all of vocalist SAMMY HAGAR’s road crew, tension in the band has been at an all time high.



In fact, it's been described that Eddie and Sammy “Hate” each other and apparently Sammy has already threatened to bail on the tour numerous times. Sammy is also planning a quick “eight shows in 10 days” jaunt opening for TED NUGENT just before Christmas this year. Hagar is also in the 'talking' stages of doing a full blown spring/summer tour as Nugent's opening act.



Our source was told that “this is it for VH with Sammy. There will be no other tours or new album.”

Truth is 400,000 cd's are sold of BOBW-maybe it is becasue of the Roth songs and maybe not
VH is selling lots of tickets at ridiculous prices so they are making lots of $$$
Van halen would draw more with Diamond than with Sam, but, this tour is a huge success and to not admit it is stupid. and makes one look foolish
I still think the band will reunite with both Sam and Dave for one big last go around, Sam is the only one that can still make that happen.

by what standards is this tour doing well? VH selling tickets at outrageous prices for a crowd half the size they USED to pull in, is not considered a success. 400,ooo units sold based on PAST hits, with 3 semi-shitty songs without video or proper marketing is not considered a success. Sam and Dave are on good terms, despite the mudslinging? Hmmm... Please explain your gases coming from head hole. :D Thanks.
