Where the fuck do you people get this information!!!, losers !!, the album has gone gold and platinum in America, that means:

500, 000 = a gold record

1,000,000= platinum

so therefore fuckface, the record has sold 1.5 million copies in America alone. Do you have a record out? oh wait. your criminal

As well, a 2disk cd is counted TWICE per sale, thus 1.5 is really 750,000. Again, look it up in billboard. KNow the facts before running off at the mouth, dullard.

BTW, Scott (you moron), Platinum DOESN'T MEAN 1 million on top of the 500,000 from Gold. It means a million in total. Also, moron, this is a double-album, and thus takes only 250,000 to go gold and 500,000 to go platinum. Fact. Go look it up. That's how it's being registered.

One more thing: lots of albums go platinum on shipment. But the actual soundscan results are the most accurate. Those actually state how much the album sold at cash registers...not shipment orders to stores. The fucking thing has been soundscanned as selling less than 500,000, so it's actually not sold enough to customers to be platinum.
