stay frosty (this should have been the first and ONLY "single" by the way - EPIC, rocking, fun song (and much more a tribute to La Grange than Ice Cream Man to ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about hard rock. ZZ Top on steroids and taurine. The album would have sold at least twice as many copies if this had been the lead instead of Tattoo. Wonderful album nonetheless.)

My issue with "The Trouble With Never" is that it doesn't even sound like VH to my ears. First time I heard it I thought it was in the style of Guns N' Roses, Appetite era. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it didn't sound original. It's also a pretty messy, schizophrenic song that sounds like a bunch of ideas slapped together but not unified.

I think this song sounds 60/70 .. blues or jimi hendrix "crosstown traffic" , we had songs sound ZZ Top but not Jimi Hendrix! I like this song, but without the bridge it's an ordinary song!

I cannot believe you would skip over "As Is" THE most Van Halen song on the cd.

Everyone has their own taste.

For instance the two songs I can't even name em that Dave did on the greatest hits album are in my opinion an abomination , ya can't like em all

It's the Chorus that kills it for me...but man...it is the Song Opening I blast the most while driving down the street. I know it is Eddie just leaning into his derivative (I never had a pedal Eddie Cry) but man....I just love opening both windows and BLASTING this loud rolling down the street....until the chorus....then I start it over...hehe.
