The fact of the matter is this. Mods can check any IP and it's location inside of their own forums using the IP buttons. Super Mods can check all forums in the same way. Webbies can do a ton more....which need not be discussed here.

That's using the IP button.

The fact of the matter is, any poster in this forum, mod or not, can use a not hidden function on the front page of the forums to check IP addresses as well.

Rikk is telling the truth. In a matter of seconds, he, or you as a a matter of fact, can check out anyone's IP address who's online--and you don't have to post to do it.

The key is that you have to currently be logged in. He can't check past posts, only current users that are logged into the site.
