Thing is...Von started the DDLR for people to hang out when Sarge had no clue if he was going to continue the DLRARMY or not. So, in fact....the DDLR in MY eyes is just an extension of this place is all. So to CHOOSE this one or that one....who the hell cares. Well Bob...see post #39 above. It has a link to the thread where Hyman and I got into it.

The underlying issue is DDLR vs. RothArmy, but it really started with ZahZoo and Hyman. I made a pretty innocuous comment in that thread, and Hyman went nuts on me. He decided to take me on.

The thing is....I don't quit. Ever.

The DDLR/RothArmy issue is now completely out of the picture as I see it.

The issue now is that Hyman has posted some extremely dark, disturbed shit in here because he so desperately wants to "beat" me.

Attributing bogus quotes to my name about pedophilia, thinking that he's hurting me. But he's just exposed himself as a real sicko with deep-seeded problems.

What he doesn't realize is that that kind of shit is unacceptable at any level. No matter how toxic a flame war gets, some shit is WAY out of bounds.

Well, I don't know if I should be the sort to try and negotiate anything...keeping in mind I have three kids myself...

It's not an appropriate signature, no doubt of that, but I truly feel that it's not necessarily the product of a warped mind, so to speak, but an effort to push your buttons, and a bad idea to boot.

I read extreme horror fiction (Bentley Little at the minimalist), so I read a lot of sick and twisted shit myself, stuff that would make most horror afficionados cringe and vomit...

I AM NOT DEFENDING ANYTHING - keep that in mind.

But...I think Hyman's ONLY sole purpose here was to get under your skin...I love both of you guys, honest...

I've PMed Hyman and I've no doubt that the signature will be gone soon enough, but in the interim, allow me to apologize on behalf of the entire Pen (including Hyman) for it...it wasn't a group move or anything, trust me on that...but honestly, I truly feel it's just a case of bad judgment.

And maybe the dust can settle a little bit with that, I don't know...shit, I could be pissing in the wind for all I know, but I at least wanted to make an effort to handle a mistake with some diplomacy...

Even though things have calmed, I can sense that we're always going to "circle one another" like panthers when we run across each other in a thread...as we wait for a possible attack.
