Funny...I've been looking for bad calls on Lebron drives as a few Piston fans have been calling...
and there haven't been many tonight...maybe a couple...but most are legit fouls...

Not this year...he's laid more eggs than a 100 year old chicken whore...

You can be MVP even if you aren't a good defender.
If you are that valuable to your team, in whatever the context that you excel, that is the criteria.
If there is good team defense, Nash's offensive exploits outweigh his deficiencies.
I'm done...but your criteria for the award is erroneous.
An outstanding defender who hits clutch threes could be an MVP. It hasn't happened, but there is no reason why you couldn't dominate in that way.
Maybe the league just hasn't seen a player dominate in that way.
This isn't street ball. Team basketball.
I love your rationalizations about how Nash's teammates numbers are up because their minutes are up.
Great circular logic. So Nash has nothing to do with their success. ALL of their previous teams saw fit to play them fewer minutes...oh because they hadn't shown as much.
Nash has made them all better, although there are several who beat him in athleticism and skill. Based on the regular season, he is a top 5 candidate. To say otherwise is ridiculous.

I never said Nash doesn't improve the team on offense...but your logic is that it had nothing to do with D'Antoni's offense...which was implemented for a whole season during Nash's first year...
the logic would be if their minutes are up...and Nash improved them...than their stats wouldn't match what they did with their low minutes the year before...
fact of the matter...most of that team scores what they would have with improved minutes...nothing more...nothing less...facts are facts...
if you average 4 points in 2 minutes...then average 8 points in four...is it another player that gives them more minutes?
fuck no...
Nash is overrated...
period...
