Yeah, I do get you, and thanks for the props.

I usually try to deal by helping the other guy out as well as opposed to just tossing a big name out there.. Obviously getting all you can in the meanwhile.

It's all about the big picture.. and I know you get that. You think just as hard at how much you're helping the other guy.

That's why I was pissed at the Lugo trade.

You got just what you needed without creating a big stir, and Eyes got his 3rd 1B...you win.

You claim you don't look at the rosters much, well I do.

And you came up with a good fit in return for an expendable guy, and it pissed me off! ROFL

You lose a closer...but you potentially gain the best starter in the bigs...

I love the Dontrelle side of it...

      however...again...DLoc needs a fucking closer...

      in need...it's even...
losing Cordero hurts..no doubt..the guy is gonna have at least 40 saves this year..Willis gets 20-25 wins if lucky..but more k's..i am basically saying fuck the save dept...i have Nathan and thats about it in my pen now..

Yep, all I had was Hoffman..

        I think Baez has 11...

I'm not sure of your team, wrning..

But my only glaring need was saves...

Hell, I think we both made out famously.

I really don't look look at the rosters much...I don't care who anyone else has...

I just care who I have to be honest...

I'll occasionally look at the top 2 or 3 teams...to see their strengths in a head to head match up...and try and fit my team to beat them...

          If I do...I do...if I don't...I don't...

When I looked at your roster to deal with you last month...I really don't pay attention to your team...I look at your roster for guys I like...not even necesarily guys that are good...and I focused on a couple of guys that I wanted that I thought you'd deal...and didn't even look at Vlad if I remember correctly...

I just don't care much about others...

some things will stand out...when I went hunting for a closer a couple of weeks ago...I got curious at how a 10 man league could have EVERY closer gone...so I looked around at who had what...so I have a general closer idea...

My big sell was Morneau being hurt...and Overbay had stats almost identical to Morneau's at the time...I like Overbay a lot to be honest...but just looked at my team...and Feliz and thought...hmmm...it sure as fuck would be cool to have a guy like Feliz at short...so I could use Feliz as a fill in guy...since he has so much versatility...

like I said...I wanted Rollins or Furcal...and got my third choice...but...wtf...lmfao...

hmmm...good question really..1 good closer isnt gonna help me..Batista and Shields have some saves..but keeping with the "fuck saves" mojo..makes a deal worth pondering..lol

Yeah DLoc...honestly...I START with the other team...pretend I own the other team...and think about what that team needs...and what it has to deal...

It's not so much THINKING about the other team...but trying to fill a hole there and getting what I need with least amount of pain.

Some people don't think there should be any pain...lmfao...

Shields is awesome...but only got his saves because FRod was out...

but is lights out in the setup role...will get the job if FRod goes down again...and gets decent K's...

                          Batista...lmfao...no idea...

                          Nathan...

Christ...back to the starter...lmfao...didn't we try this earlier in the year?

Okay...let's start out this way...let's say the only guys on my roster that are untouchable in the SP department are...Schmidt, Colon and Buerhle...

Where would that leave your thinking?

And to all the folks that threw deals out there for Jason Schmidt...I actually commend you...because I was thinking the deal was up for him...

but just couldn't find a way to let him go...2 months can't wash away 5 years...but damn...if he'd have made it to the break looking like Seeford Young instead of Cy Young...lmfao...I'd have handed him to someone for a half eaten steak...

and by the way wrning...on a rare serious moment from me to you...

I absolutely love the deals you've made to upright your team...

IMO...you got maybe the NL MVP in Cabrera (although I love Crawford to)...that kid is instant offense...

and you pick up Dontrelle Willis...who may be the NLCy Young...

you honest to christ are pulling a Troy (football) kinda move with your moves...

I'm glad I played you BEFORE it...
