Im not putting Hoagn down, but VH1 doesn't really have a large audience to begin with. I think they are only in like 1 million homes.
Putting "Hogan Knows Best" on Spike Tv, USA, NBC, ABC, or CBS would have spawned off a failure of a rating.

            Odds are, lmao...

Seriously, though, of all the guys I met, Roberts was the one where you couldn't decide where Jake Roberts began and The Snake ended...I think Vince said almost exactly the same thing in one documentary or another, maybe it was Beyond the Mat?

Oh yes! And these three: Owen Hart (as the Blue Blazer), and Shawn and Marty when they were The Rockers.

It was executed very well though. Kudos to Vince and Matt for pulling that one off.

Yeah, he was an alright guy - chatted with him for about 15 minutes or so before his match...he was up against...um...Honky Tonk Man that night (after Honky lost the I-C title to Warrior). Bret won, as I recall.

ugh.... Ricky Steamboat was a great wrestler, but unfortunatley he was also overrated. The best matches of his entire 30 plus year career happened in 1989 w/Flair. Id put others higher up.

In fact: (For entertainment and wrestling ability)

                              Shawn Michaels
                              Ric Flair
                              Hulk Hogan
                              Kurt Angle
                              Eddie Guerrero
                              RVD
                              Ricky Steamboat
Ric Rude (First reported guy to pic up a mic in mid ring and cut a promo before his matches on a regular basis)
                              Undertaker

It was exciting seeing Animal last night until he took his spiked vest off. I am very afraid of seeing him in the ring for a whole match, and to make it worse with Heidenreich as his partner.

As far as Steamboat goes, you should check out his stuff from his first WWF run. His matches against Savage, Muraco & Jake the Snake are classics and avaiable on different tapes. Tougher to find is his NWA matches from before entering the WWF but it is well worth tracking down. The easiest to find are his Starrcade matches (83 w/Jay Younblood vs The Briscoes & 84 vs Tully Blanchard) By the way, I woudn't knock Steamboat for having those incredible matches with Flair. They are the best matches of Flair's 30 plus year career also.
