Well, based on how things are going...I'm hard for the coming live album already...can't get here fast enough...

I saw AC/DC twice on the last tour they did....Friday night in Gnashville at the Arena, then Saturday night at the Pyramid in Memphis.

His voice IS shot, but since he never actually sounded like he was singing that much (more like rasping) except in the very early days, and it has been a fairly gradual decline over almost 30 years, nobody really notices.

I did though. Made me wonder how many albums/tours he has left in him.

By the way, Black Sabbath - The Dio Years sold 21,000 units in the US in it's first week to land at #54 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

Not a bad first week showing. We'll see how it fares after a month...the tour's where all the cash is being made, album sales are just gravy at this point, I guess.

Very few bands make real $$$ from record sales these days, that's why ticket prices for gigs are so high...

I'd drop a $100 easy for a Dio fronted Sabbath...just don't tell THEM that...

Having said that, when they did a few one-off shoes a few years ago, I read a lot of people saying his voice has improved since the SUL tour "probably down to the band not playing live in a while".

I fuckin LOVE the Let There Be Rock album!!

That and Powerage are the best records ACDC ever made, IMO.

I love Highway... and Back... but they were just a little too controlled for me, I prefer the full out rock of the earlier stuff..

The three new songs on the best of RULE!!!!

Cranked them last night and they areso heavy it hurts. All the performances are as good as ever, great tunes throughout: simple and powerful.

I can't pick a favourite: anyone else?
