I cant understand it ? We have all seen Zakk playin some
great (and respectful) renditions of Randy's solos without
a pinched harmonic to be heard ?

I think he just got lazy or contented and relied on them
too much...

He should do an Eddie and release the Zakk Wylde
"Pinched Harmonic" generator stomp box, similar
to Eddies MXR Flanger....

I actually have a lot of respect for Zakk, even if he has become a self-parody. The guy has always played from his heart, has served Ozzy as well as anyone, and has never followed a trend in his life.

I'd have to agree... As good a musician Zakk is, he's turned into a one-trick pony and that aspect needs a change to keep it interesting.

Well, so we can ascertain that either...

1. Ozzy's completely incoherent, unaware of what he's doing and so full of shit nothing he says to the press anymore about his band or music should be taken seriously or even as remotely close to accurate; or

2. Ozzy bends over and takes it up the ass whenever Zakk says something to him (which has, apparently, happened several times before when Ozzy's tried to replace Zakk unsuccessfully), meaning Zakk Wylde now has full control of who's in and out of the Ozzy Osbourne Band; or

3. Zakk's lying; or

4. Zakk's really out of the Ozzy Osbourne Band and neither Ozzy nor Sharon apparently have the balls to tell him the truth about it.

Either way, all it adds up to shit on the Osbourne's hands. But that's nothing new, I guess.

I did hear on Trunk's XM show when he interviewed Chip Znuff that Ozzy's camp had been talking to Jake.

So....

I say anything is possible.

I would bet he has or Sharon has been poking around...with John 5 you get a songwriter to boot...something Ozzy needs.

He just said everything is great with Ozzy....maybe this Blizzcon Convention is Zakk's farewell concert!!
