Actually that was the first night when that happened. They did 4 nights. I didn't know at the time what was going on but Slash was talking over the mic and played some very killer background guitar "My Michelle" style intro melody riffs and chatted about what happened for what like seemed 20 minutes, He talked about how GnR is not breaking up and how he had dreamed about playing the L.A. Coliseum since he was a child, and how he used to go there and watch Areosmith and Van Halen as a kid. I remember that like it was yesterday. Eplc night.

Sammy Hagar deserves to be in the RRHOF more than Axl Rose.

Longevity of career. Successful with many great bands & solo. Many more hit songs. Many more albums. Many more tours. Less crying. Less whining. (although he is trying to catch up now)

As bad as he was for Van Halen in the way that we loved it, a lot of people like Van Hagar. Axl howled on 1 great album. ONE! And Appetite has been overplayed & worn out to the damned bone. Sick of that fucking thing already and it sounds dated as hell. Fuck Axl.
