I think the old GnR was excellent, but Axl Rose has given me the creeps ever since I read that Rolling Stone interview he gave at the height of or just after their popularity (around 91) when he discussed his recovery of repressed memories of being molested by his bio dad at 3 years of age and so that is why he hates/hated gays.
