Sorry to disappoint some people in this thread but Dave interviewed Nugent on his radio show in 2006 for at least 40 minutes and he seemed to be getting very well with him talking about outdoors shit and guns.

Roth probably knows nothing of Nugent's friendship with Hagar, dodgy girl adoption, hypocritical draft dodge etc etc but it wasn't my favorite moment from his radio show...

I don't belive for a second that Dave didn't know about the adoption. If we know, then he knows too. He probably knew sooner then we and in more details.

Who knows, maybe we are all wrong about Dave. None of us knows him for real, we only know what he chooses to show off publicly. Maybe he is like Nugent deep down inside :-/

I picture Dave as being fairly opposite of his stage persona. He must have a pretty tight circle of friends because you don't hear much if anything of what he does off stage. You only hear what he allows you to hear.
