Well... the customer being always right is not seen nearly enough these days, BUT considering the liquor license laws and such the shop keep really didn't have much choice.

Sounds like he/she could have been much more tactful, certainly, but nonetheless lose that liquor license by serving minors and you are kaput.

She yelled as she was walking toward our table. Something like:

"hey, what do you think you're doing? He can't have that! You think I'm gonna lose my license so that you can feed your kid alcohol? I should throw you out of here. Then, you'll wonder why your kid is drinking under age, meanwhile you're the one giving it to him".

You know, that kind of people are really irritating. You were the one giving a sip of it to the kid, not her, therefore yopu were the only one responsible. I think I know what I'm saying, I mean, I have a bar...

Plus, there's nothing wrong with kids drinking underage. In fact, I think you were doing the right thing. The sooner they start, the sooner they get vacinated against it, at least with alcohol. I started drinking at twelve. I did a lot of crap when I was a teenager because of the booze. Nowadays, those times are long gone, when I drink I'm very civilized, and I find it ridiculous when someone my age does what I did, or worse, than when I was 15. And those were the people who accused me of being a troublemaker...

Sorry about the rambling... But the world IS a fucked up place, and this kind of stupid laws aren't helping...
