Cilantro in a spring roll would be a little weird. Should be fresh basil, if a Devil remembers correctly. But then they're already using pseudo-crab instead of shrimp, so who knows?

Them are some weird ass looking rolls. Instead of kelp the wrap looks like chinese dumpling dough.

I like to eat these but Michael Douglas scared me from doing it anymore. Maybe I will stick with something a bit safer like fugu fish.

The dude's nephew from Crete did all the cooking last night. He was telling me he wished we were in Crete or Greece and had the access to fresh sea food. He said you haven't had Greek food until you have been there because you can't get all the ingredients here. It's the same with chinese food. You even can go to the best chinese restaurants in San Fransisco and something is missing. It's not the same as eating in China. You just can't get the fresh ingredients so you make due. That being said, what you can make is still good.

Chinese food has always been heavily Americanized. But even more than that the first/dominant Chinese immigrants to the U.S. came from specific districts of China that ate rice-based dishes. Most Chinese don't eat rice primarily, but pasta...

This is my absolute favorite kind. I bought this here in Sweden actually. A bosnian opened a place. He makes fantastic ones. It's an old pic, I haven't eaten it for at least a year

Good eye, there's a chili pepper sauce and a peanut sauce. Not quite sure what's in them other than the krab.. Sure are good though.
