You'll probably get this one fairly quickly too:

American by birth. Southern by the grace of God.

Oh yeah. King of cool in The Hunter, playing bounty hunter "Papa Thorsen".

Love the chase scene with the rented Trans Am in the corn field.

      Sadly McQueen's last starring role.

Yeah, that one was an easy one. My favorite line from that movie - "I'm getting too old for this shit."

How about this one, a movie I really liked. The McQueen movie made me think of it.

I think that's Gator McClusky and Bama McCall but I don't know if it's from White Lighting or Gator, I'm gonna go with Gator.

Bama McCall - best name ever for a character in a move. And yes, it's from Gator.

I LOVED Jerry Reed since I was a kid. I went to see all the Burt Reynolds movies in the theater when I was little, then watched them over and over on cable.

Jerry was executive producer of another favorite, Bat 21. I also have the book.

Jerry Reed was the MAN!!! There's a guy who lives not far from me here in NC that owns a trucking company and went out and bought the same rig and trailer used in Smokey and the Bandit and had it hand painted just like the one from the movie.

All right, GB will probably get this one right off the damn bat. But most people wouldn't know this movie. Here's a hint - the main character died in his Corvette and I have touched his "death car" and had my picture made with it when I was a kid. Hell, we didn't have much more to do around here back in those days

I have been known to karaoke some Amos Moses on more than one occasion.

My first car was a black 1978 Trans Am with tan interior, I got it in January of 1980. :D

Walking Tall, Joe Don Baker playing sherriff Buford Pusser.

This one really captured my imagination as a kid. Another book:

One of the few books about him. His sister has a restaurant in TN that serves Buford Sized servings.

Well damn. Did you show Burt how to drive the goddamn car too?

No, he showed ME how to drive, I saw Smokey and the Bandit seven Saturdays in a row at the theater alone.
