I saw a Mondial in another pretty good movie recently, The Devil's Double, about Saddam's son Uday.

Yeah, Weird Science. But you saw The Devil's Double? I saw the previews and it looked freaking awesome! Was it as good as the previews made it look?

I didn't catch that on my phone until you posted, LOL. I read once that Ferrari debuted the Mondial in Weird Science, don't know if that is true but I don't recall ever seeing one before then. That is what Christie Brinkley was driving in Vacation a few years later.
