Meet your new friend Mr. Sandpaper. Or get some paint stripper. I'm sanding the red off of that Pacer Deluxe body and it took me 3 hours last night to get through just the front. I was too tired to do the other half tonight.
Oh here's that Kramer Pacer that now has a real Strat body. Had to have the fucking thing redrilled all over the place to to fit the Kramer neck, the pickguard, and of course the Floyd. Switched the black hardware with my Baretta, thought it looked cooler with all black.
Dude you won't, if that's a factory finish, it's gonna take you a while to get down to the wood trust me. Sand most of the layers off with 60 grit, and then go to 100 near the end. You'd have to sand the fuck out of it by hand to ruin it.
Man. It sucks being a vocalist. What are us vocalists supposed to do all evening? Sit around and compare SM-57s?:D

I'm not sure the process for a Frank, because there is a lot more black on it, and fucked up squiggly lines. But for a Kramer 5150, I painted it white, taped it. Painted it red. Then taped off the everything except where the black lines went, and then sprayed black.
Now you could paint it black first. Tape off for the black lines. Spray it white. Then tape off for the white lines, leaving the black line tape on as well. And then spray it red. You should be ok that way, as long as you don't leave the black stripes tape on forever.

Not always. I prefer the 57 myself. I find the sound warmer with the 57. The 58 has a crisper sound, but not as round IMO.

Hi everyone, sorry it took so long to get back Max, bloody time difference means I miss out on all the good stuff. Love the guitar pics tho. Me and the Scotsman are great.. madly in love and very happy thanx. He's a musician too and his guitar collection is quite big. He's teaching me to string and clean them... huh!! Girlfriend/guitar tech!!! Here are a few that clutter up his living room, along with a zillion cd's. The rest are at his parents house. His hero's are Ed and Albert Lee. And boy, can he play!!! He's not a bad guitarist either!!! LOL!!
Or is Nazi imagery and porn still floating around??
LOL...
The good news is that my kid missed the last of it - I was able to click off of the spammed shit before he really noticed anything...I asked him about it later and he thought it was a dog or something, I guess...

Sweet...I'm just glad I didn't have to explain all that shit to a 5 year old...not my idea of fun...but, considering the sources, I shouldn't consider myself too surprised, lol...
