This past Saturday I drove down the highway to Niagara On The Lake to visit family. On every single bridge that passed over the Q.E.W. (at least 30 of them) there were hundreds of people waving Canadian flags waiting to pay their respects to the fallen Canadian soldiers in the funeral procession that followed me a few miles back.
It was an incredible sight , and it made me feel sad for the families of those soldiers and thankful that my loved ones were safe and sound. I salute them and all the allied soldiers and their families .

But to see something this outright disrespectful turns my stomach with rage. If I saw one of those motherfuckers on the street ,I'd deliver the cunt a serious fuckin beatdown.

I don't know what all is in our arsenal. I do know that the conservative government has increased military spending, and our troops are now some of the best equipped in Afghanistan. (Thank God they did, our shit was oooolllldddd, and the liberals never spent any money on our soldiers!)

All I have to say is that the Canadian government should at least give the CAF at least one Amphibious Carrier! Even if it only utilizes helicopters and is 30+ years old.

No, it's for those UN peacekeeping operations they always do. So that way they won't have to worry about not paying a lease for a foreign vessel and having their equipment witheld upon payment, such as what happened 10+ years ago after a mission from the former Yugoslavia.
