There is not need for outrageous "Negotiated" benefits like posted above.

But...the bargaining commitee asked for it and they got it...

End of the day...public employees know they work for government...and if government gives it why should they not use it.

They also know that you can only take so much and your paycheck will die...workers are not as stupid as some would to think.

Those Benefits like sick day stacking are ridiculous...and should never have been agreed upon...they can be negotiated out too.

This move by the State is just sick.

It is no more than union busting and taking power away from the people.

As far as calling union members lazy...well...if the Supervisor does his or her job...then the so called lazy goes away.

I am a USW member and a Shop Stweard...and one of the hardest working guys in my department...so I see this for what it is.

Unions save lives...and improve workering conditions for all...union and non.

In Canada they helped us get our Occupational health and saftey act...which helps everyone regardless of union membership or not.
They got us paid holiday time and a 40 hr work week...Employment insurance and old age pension.

Companies get rich off the back of it's work force...they need us, the guy on the floor or running equipment....asking for fair compensation is only right.

Government employees are their to serve the public...and the public expects good service.

If you do not get it...go up the chain...not the unions fault...all workers have bosses....who make more than the union employee and generally are too lazy to do their own job.
