The local Godfathers closed up shop in the early 90s. But they had kickass pizza and was the first restaurant in town to serve beer. Can't beat that! Now out here we're stuck with the chains and none of it is really all that good. The best pizza I've had in years was at a place called Big Daddy's in Pigeon Forge - wood fired oven, good stuff. Expensive as hell but damn good.

Godfathers was good pizza until Herman the Son of Cain took over the company and cut too many corners. We would occasionally send an angel down there to pick up a few pizzas. Dad and I have discussed the possibility of recreating that franchise up here and calling it "God The Father's Pizza", but we're concerned about the legal issues. And since most lawyers go to Hell, We try to stay out of court as much as possible.
