It would be interesting to see if this is helping Chick-Fil-A's business or hurting it. You are going to drive some business away but attract some business as well. I mean it's a sandwich place and really means nothing. The owner has their oppinion. If it offends you vote with your pocket book. It's getting blown way out of proportion. Some people are traditionalists and see marriage as an institution between a man and a woman. They are entittled to their oppinion just as the gays are entittled to theirs. People have to realize gay marriage is a very new concept and many people aren't going to accept it.
I think we should just legally define all marriages as a legal union. Let people marry who or what they want and then let the church's define marriage. Basically all the government is concerned with is who get's the inheritance, who gets custody, and who gets visitation rights. The church's can worry about what is right and wrong on the higher levels. The fact is, you have to allow freedom of religion to have a free society.
This has never been adressed in the past because frankly it never was an issue in the past. 25 years ago if you said two men or two women were going to marry each other people would laugh thinking it was a crackpot idea.Last edited by Nitro Express; 08-01-2012, 12:58 PM.No!
