I propose that YOU, and every single parent in the world start spending time with their kids to see what they have at home.

I propose that YOU, and every single person in this fucked up world stop looking at governments & churches to solve their problems & solve them themselves.

I'm doing it & have been doing it for years. I don't care about any governments or churches, I care what goes on around me, with the people I know & the problems we have & try to solve them ourselves.

would you propose raising taxes and passing a law that subjects all USA citizens to a mental health evaluation every 1,5,10 yrs to maintain a gun, job, drivers license or legal guardian of children ??

if a parent did not pass the eval would you adopt the child ? or send the child to juvenile detention ?

if the child did not pass the eval would you send the child to juvenile detention ?

What do you propose to do to improve human behavior ? what about schooling 12 months a year with longer school days and raising the drop out age to 18 or 20 with mandatory military training for 1-2 year to ensure fitness and ability to defend self and country ??

That everyone start taking responsibility for themselves & change their selfish habits.

It's a surprisingly small amount of change that actually does make a big difference.

All you have to do is get your political views out of your head, whatever they are. It's all bullshit & all it's doing is keeping your eyes closed.

Or, we could debate about political views 'till we're blue in the face & go to bed at night feeling like we made a difference.

you would be comfortable with law enforcement officers going door to door with licensed mental health professionals doing assessments on a regular basis ?

that would cost millions or more.. who would pay the metal health pro's, obama care or your health ins. co' or would LEO's do the assessment?? law enforcement is already subjective enough from officer to officer - that theory may be great - the reality would be a disaster

Guns are the problem because they are in the hands of mortals who have no business being within 666 miles of a gun. Usually these fools just walk into a gun show and buy one, from some sick fuck who doesn't care who he's selling to. Or (such as was the case at Columbine) they send somebody else to a gun show to buy it for them. Or you have the Lanza case, where one sick mental case fuck bought the guns, and then her sick mental case fuck son is the one who used them.

So technically guns aren't the problem. Ridiculously easy access to guns by felons and mental cases IS.
