Anderson Cooper interviewed a doctor whose wife ran the Marathon. He was only about 25' from the blast and said he was "saved" by a women (who died) and two other people who lost their legs, effectively shielding him from the blast. He stayed and treated the wounded onsite and was remarkably calm about it all saying most of the wounds were lower extremities and the blast seemed to be designed to fire low into the crowd...Comment
