North Korea sent troops to Ukraine, and Russia cast that nasty missile yesterday.
And Putin said the conflict would go worldwide...
Not so sure Trump could put an end to that war in a snap as he boasted he would.

I guess for Europe at least it's good for Ukraine to do so much damage that even with Trump making the USA Putin's bitch his personal business interests, Russia is still too weak to attack Estonia or Poland for the next 4 years.
The other problems are that if Trump starts a stupid trade war then that makes Europe and everywhere else poorer(including the US) at the same time as trying to find more money for defence. It's more expensive for European countries to retool an industrial war complex in the same way as the US since it's had it in place for 85 years already. This cost then lets more idiot right wing politicians take control of Germany, France and Italy and the fascists win in a very late WW2 overtime.
It does make you wonder that maybe a part of the problem is that all the people that remember what the right wing populists bozo's were like last time around are all dead now and the lessons weren't passed down well enough. The Ukraine/Russia conflict seems to present much more of a security risk to Europe than to the US... while y'all are busy being critical of Trump and the US... one has to ask... Why aren't any of the European entities stepping up to solve the problem yourselves??
You've had 3+ years to do something and no effective leadership in the US to interfere in your regional problem... yet you sit back, welcome US money and military protection, but then do nothing on your own to solve this or protect your own asses...

These days, the prospect of WW3 as a thought doesn't alarm me nearly as much as it would have ten years ago.
Like, I don't have a bucket list.
I have no big plans or ambitions I want to realize. Whatever big plans and ambitions I didn't realize, I'm beyond regretting that I didn't.
I'm basically just working, paying bills. Have done all the travelling I want to do, really. Gone to all the sporting events/rock concerts I wanted to. Eaten all the great meals I ever wanted to.
While I'm not hoping WW3 would come in terms of such an event obviously bringing pain to millions of others, if it comes and it's unavoidable (and none of us here can do anything to prevent it anyway), c'est la vie.

Fucking sinister too is Putin telling Trump to demand an election so that they can fix it. Why not have Putin hold a free and fair election in Russia for the first time in decades?
