Nice tone. What's the amp?

Logic Express built-in amp modeling software. Had it set to "US hot top 100w" with a "British" EQ (everything at 12 o'clock, except presence at 3 o'clock) and a "UK closed slant 4x12" with a "dynamic mic on-axis" in front of it...

In other words, I ballparked the "Way Cool Jr." tone.

Oh, and yesterdays gig turned out to be "the wifes" first gig. Soundman commented the tone being nice and smooth, given I didn't have my amp there... (A fuckin' backup Pocket Pod...)

Cool. I've been using Duncan Classic Stack in my Humbuckered beasts, but think I'm going to try a Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues I've got kicking around here in the neck of the next one - I love the regular Blues model in the neck position of my traditional Strats, but I figure the slightly higher output, beefier sounding Heavy B will match better with a Humbucker.

I have coil-taps running on the Humbuckers via a push-pull pot on the S/H ones, but the series/parallel option might be nice, too...

Try it, you might like it.

If anyone could make Recabinet work, it's Coyote because all Jay's clips sound like a hack and he's got 15 years on Coyote.

In fact I can't recall ever not being impressed with any of Coyote's band clips, choices in duds to wear in his bands, or guitars. He's really tried to make an xlnt effort.

I guess either one has "it" or doesn't because why at his age has he matured so well, but Jay has still alot of catching up to do at this point.. I don't know if it's: money, time, opportunity or what.

One thing differently Coyote is always doing is giving a bit more effort, which I believe is the key. I won't go further or else it's going to look like I'm licking ass, which I don't do well.. and I don't wish to be too negative on Jay either, except to say "you really need to try harder."
