OK, I appreciate the fact that a certain part of the populace wants to keep things all buttoned down and in order, yet for me, when I'm not taking care of a patron, doing some ultimately senseless filing, putting shit away that will only be taken out so I can put it away again in an abject form of futility while waiting for a smoke break, I'm in for as much chaos as possible to break the overwhelming spirit of monotony.
We've had our differences but I've always respected your personal style. You simply ignore the people who piss you off unless they break the rules then you act accordingly. It's not personal with you. You give your opinion of the post but you don't attack the poster. You'd get my vote if the leadership of the site was voted on by the other members.

Not many, but what's your point, that the old mods sucked ??

    What else is new...

Why is it disloyal to post somewhere else? Many of us in this community predate the Army itself and posted at the Slawterhouse, the DLRML, the VHML and the Links among other places.

I still got my teeth. I'm sure you don't. With a mouth like yours likely somebody's knocked them out long ago. It was probably the African mercenary you had deported from Australia with the help of the CIA.

Says the fired moderator. You don't have to be a moderator to know what one is. Or what they're supposed to be anyway. I do think it's sad to see so much bitterness there. Sure, you don't have to have a lunch thread, but does half of the threads have to be about people here?

    But best of luck!
You say you wish them the best then you make another statement about all the bitterness there. Then you repeat the same old they're talking about us most or half of the time bullshit. You're making a running commentary about another site having a running commentary about this site. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Respect is earned, friend. You're not entitled to it simply because of the date you signed up. There are literally thousands of names on the member list here of people who joined many years before you. But they never post or bring anything to the table, and they certainly have never donated their own money to help support the site.

Do you feel that those people are more "relevant" than you?

    I would hope not....
I was being sarcastic. I don't know how many times I've seen members here (talking about members here, not site policy) talk down to newer members over who's been here longer or who's posted more. I really wondered why they accepted new members if they felt they were so insignificant as posters. They even have a who's who of trolls that they trot out once in a while. Moderators should moderate according to the rules and not their personal opinions of the relevance of the poster.
