Dave is never coming back!

At any rate, regardless of who it is with, I would love for Dave to put out some new material; not covers either.

Here's a little honest, eye-opener for all my online comrades here:

As long as we WANNA see DLR join the remaining VH members, we're admitting that as great as Dave is now, he can't be at his best without Van Halen. And that to me, is insulting to Dave. I know I can be quoted as saying that I was abso-smurfly sure that Dave would be back, but I stand corrected, and I DO NOT WANT HIM TO RETURN. PERI-FRICKIN-ID. I saw Roth FRONT ROW LIVE with twonabomber and moose a month ago....and I'm telling you....in no uncertain terms.....HE DON'T NEED VH, AT ALL. THEY WILL ONLY BRING HIM DOWN. PERIOD. PERI-FRICKIN-ID.

When Van Halen's next few outtings flop and they're resorted to playing to audiences of 200-500 a night, when Van Halen can't get a major label (already the case, probably) and when the Van Halen sisters realize that going back to the original lineup is the only thing that's going to keep them even remotely relevant (which won't be too long in the future now), Dave will be back. That's rock and roll tradition for ya.

Don't even wanna see Dave back in VH. About the only use I have for Van Halen in terms of future releases is if any previously unreleased classic stuff is put out there.

Totally agree that after "Diamond Dave" Roth needs to put something killer out next go around.

Also needs to start representing his solo catalog live and either lay back on the classic Van Halen live or at the very least start doing some different classic Van Halen tunes live/mix up the setlist. Short of that, can't say I'm gonna go see him next time around.
