If you're cool with your son hearing swearing, the rest of it will be very good for him to see.

    How old is he?
9....He's watched Montreal and Largo, and Us fest with me....Dave drops a few F bombs here and there and of course he laughs.....maybe I'll watch it first...even if I say he can't watch...he'll grab it when I'm not looking and pop it in his PS2.

    ...Kids! Gotta Love em!!

Yeah, there's no real sexual content. No drug use. Nothing like that. It's just a lot of arguing, but good messages. I can't really think of any reason why he can't watch it.

Watch it with him. It's a great film.

Hey, what's your favorite METALLICA album?

Yeah, I love ST. ANGER. It's awesome. I would like some solos, sure. But it is a great album, and you learn to appreciate it even more after seeing the film.

Right now, it's probably ST. ANGER and JUSTICE.

Started to get into GnR heavy right after Appetite was released, kinda treaded water with them through GnR Lies, cobbled together various tracks from the Use Your Illusion albums to make one decent album, lost interest after Izzy left.

Dug what Nirvana and Soundgarden were doing, but not enough to call myself a proper fan. Didn't really come around to Nirvana full-tilt until shortly after Cobain bit it. Same with Jane's Addiction. By the time I got into them, they were touring the first Lallopalooza and broke up afterward.

Never really was able to pick up on what Metallica was laying down. Dig Hetfield's rhythm work and am not saying they suck at all, but something about them never clicked with me.

Lot of bands I was into big time peaked for me during or around the same time classic Halen was breaking up; Maiden with Powerslave, Dio with The Last In Line, etc. Took a big miss on the poofy LA hair band explosion that followed the demise of classic Van Halen; Poison, Warrant, Winger, Bon Jovi (even if these bands weren't all from LA, the rock poser spandexed style wrapped around pop music - sheep in wolves clothing).

The only band I latched onto that came out after CVH broke up were the Stone Temple Pilots (seriously groove on Army Ants).

I love TONS of bands after VH, including NIRVANA, SOUNDGARDEN, etc. As for STONE TEMPLE PILOTS...they are one of the best bands in rock history. I mean it. Those guys were amazing.

Stone Temple Pilots were okay, but they were no Dave Grusin's score for the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to On Golden Pond.

Another solid and I mean solid band was "Warrior Soul" out of New York. Really 'strapped the bishop" to this band.
Any of you guys ever heard their stuff? I'll be tellin you it is solid muzik.

Dave Grusin's score for the Original Motion Soundtrack to ON GOLDEN POND is okay, but it has nothing on Jerry Goldsmith's acclaimed score for the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER.

Naw...it sucked! Needed a STELLAR vocalist & his arranging skills.

                                "Twister"?!? Terrible pattern here............
