        OK, I've just re-read your question and confirmed it to be a pile of steaming dung.

        Dave doesn't want to be back in Van Halen. If he did, he would already be back in because according to reports he was offered the chance to rejoin the band TWICE since Cherone left but he ultimately decided to remain a solo act.

        And your comment about Dave running his mouth and acting like an ass... I think you must be referring to Sammy Hagar's backtracking as evidenced on last week's Howard Stern show.

        Now go back to the Links and rub your nipples in anticipation of a Sam
        Halen tour.
