Fat Fuckin' Sammy!!!

I saw the June 22 show in NJ and I have to say that the music sounded great, the drums were explosive, but is was so hard to look at Sammy and take him seriously. This overweight, beach bum look is terrible. Also, that beard makes his face look like an old strippers crotch. If I was his wife I would divorce or refuse to have sex with him until he shaved and dropped 30lbs. I don't care how much cash he has, he looks just awful. The rest of the band pulled it together and has aged well considering. Sammy is just a pig, he was grabbing himself and behaving like an animal. Ed spent most of his time on the other side of the stage. I am just sick to death of him, but contractual obligations come first. I think this was a gold mine for the band, and I would not be surprised of this is the last we hear of Sammy. One can only hope..

Just curious where do you stand with Van Halen? Are you a Van Hagar fan? Sammy fan? I am Dave or the grave.

And I am still proud that I NEVER EVER EVER bought a Van Hagar album. Not too many people can say that. Am I wrong? I created a thread about 3 weeks ago and I think there was only 2 of us that
never bought a van hagar album. Maybe not many people saw the thread.

Dave over Sammy any day. True story: I had 4 tickets for the June 22 show, 4th row. Two of my friends were unable to attend, so we went to the show thinking we could get rid of them. Not so, I had to give them away to two 14 year olds that followed us through the parking lot. I guess that says it all.

They were so cute, these little guys; they thanked us over and over. They even bought us two sodas! I can't believe I had to eat two tickets. Before the show, I called a friend who is a ticket broker and he told me that the tickets were not selling as well as they should be, and that people couldn't justify the price without Dave.

Like I posted earlier, Sammy was obnoxious and the aging beach bum look is not a good one for him. He needs to shave that shit off his face and drop 30lbs. It just sucked having to listen to the band play Sammy tunes. It was even worse when he started to play his stupid guitar. Like the band needs another guitar player!!

I know they had to compromise, but hearing Sammy sing old tunes was very hard. I am glad we went to the show, but I cried the whole way home.

In a perfect world, VH should get together to play a reunion show; one on each coast. One show at the Garden and one in L.A. They would then see what a horrible mistake it was to concede to play Sammy's music. They would make a fortune and make the rest of us very happy. They could suck it up and deal with each other just one last time if they wanted to, but ego is in the way.
