You people hear are the most pathetic people I believe I have ever come across during my 7 year Internet History. You wish Death on People because of being a fan of someone you don't like. Am I a DLR Era VH fan....absolutely.
Am I a "Van Hagar" era fan...absolutely
Which Era do I prefer....either, they were both great and successful

I was NEVER a "DIEHARD" Van Halen Fan. I like VH, both Eras, had a few CDs but never seen them in concert.
During the Sam and Dave Tour, me and my buddy decided to Go because he was a HUGE DLR fan, so i was like ok, we'll chill out and relax and drink while listening to Sammy, and then we'll Tear the Fuckin place apart with Dave................so I thought.
Dave come out first and the place went crazy....for about the first song. By the middle of the second song, everyone was pretty much sitting down. We sat there and just kinda waited for DLR to kick it in, but it never happend. After the set was done, we were all like what the fuck was that. My friend was like bumbed out and embarrassed because he kept Pumping me up about Dave because I had never seen him live. So I'm like, Dude don't worry about it, people age, this isnt the 80's anymore....Lets just go get us a beer kick back and listen to Sammy then we'll hit the titty bar on the way home.
Well Sammy comes out and Tears the place apart, fuck'n absolutely Rocked the place. Everyone was on the feet the entire show, Sammy put on the ultimate show. I was totally shocked because I thought it was going to be the other way around. Sam buried Dave and this is coming from a guy who went to the show as Neutral....Didnt care either way.
After the show, i begin looking into Hagar's music more, since he left VH, and become a Sammy Hagar Fan. So yeah I was hoping he would someday re-unite with Van Halen because by Judging by the two performances I thought he would be the better choice, but I in no way ever insulted bashed or wish Death on anyone who was a DLR fan. I come here to read up on what people thought about the Reunion and I see these pathetic posts about sammy and sammy fans
REMEMBER ONE THING...DAVE HAD HIS SHOT , DAVE HAD HIS SHOT TWICE AND HE BLEW IT. IT WASNT SAM'S FAULT, MY FAULT YOUR FAULT, IT WAS DAVE'S FAULT, BECAUSE ITS ALL BOUT DAVE.
DAVE SCREWED ALL OF THE DIE HARD VAN HALEN, DLR ERA FANS. HE SCREWED YOU NOT ANYONE ELSE.
