This is just wrong. You couldn't have higher ratings than Stern and they did the same thing to him, until he left. His show sucked for the last few years and he is the first to admit it. CBS screwed up the stern show and he left. They wouldn't fire him, he couldn't quit.

Also, Imus has no ratings and hasn't for years. He pretty much admitted it recently when asked if he would go to satelitte, Imus said that he can't even get listeners on free radio.

I know Matt Sencio from back in the day in Boston. He used to be the booking manager for the Hard Rock Cafe's Cavern Club. (John Sencio is his brother, they grew up in the metro Boston area.) I was surprised to hear that he's managing DLR. I just don't understand how he was qualified to do the job?

I'd like to know how he met DLR and if he's ever managed an Entertainer before? A Booking Manager is hardly the qualifications for Dave's Manager. I classify Matt as somewhere between his "Manager" and a Personal Assistant.

A solid Manager for an Entertainer would not always be a "YES" man - they would constantly be looking out for his best interest.

Since Dave has a a booking agent (Monterey Int'l Agency - Chicago), what is left for Matt to do? Book DLR's hotels and meals?

...it certainly is not negotiating solid projects like even Pete Angelus did with Dave.

WOW....Looking at Doug T.'s photoshop of a DLR STAR looks so damn nice, it makes me want to get that project accelerated (again) !!!!

I put it on the backburner because back in January of this year ('06) while DLR's Radio Gig was going on, I had contacted his former publicist and she told me that since the Radio Gig was not getting great ratings, it would be in my best interest not to move forward on it until the CBS circus had calmed down.

I seemed to have received mixed opinions from those who kept saying "Why should I help DLR buy a Star when he can afford it himself"?

The whole idea was it being a "FAN APPRECIATION" project.

If the enthusiasm was/is still there.........I would spear-head it in a NYC minute.
