Yeah, awesome show, smooth all the way thru. Seated [stood] next to older guy who was just there because he knew DLR sang "Just a Gigolo" and he was happy as a clam when Dave sang it. Dude had his granddaughter there... she was about a 5'11" hot blonde, nice attitude, about 18-20 and she enjoyed the whole show too. So did her mom (the older guy's daughter) who was up in one of the windows of the hotel dancing her ass off! She actually came down later and I saw where the granddaughter got her hotness from! Nice company to have.

I was in Section A, row 20. There were three good looking blond chicks, no older than 30, up in front of me who were on their feet, cheeringm with their hands in the air the whole concert.

Dave looked and sounded great (he seems to be really focusing on hitting his screams and yelps, along with truly vocalizing like he should), the band was tight and I felt like I got my money's worth (except for losing $200 at the craps table before the concert :p ).

Great setting at Pala, but wish it was a little less 'constrained' back there, the seating was....'too tennis-matchy' (?). Getting a drink took 5 songs, but I could still see him on the bigscreen while I was waiting.

Basically, yes, I had a good time.

Also, I see more than ever, how the VH sisters are wasting what good times they could be having.

BTW, that was the first time I saw Dave live since 1982! (and I only saw Van Hagar once, at monsters of rock in 1985.. didn't need to see them again). Out.

Once you involve air travel the costs skyrocket. I am sure if

a Brittish promoter was to cover the travel expenses Dave and

      the boy's would be there.

Until then, you probably won't be seeing him at the Marquee.

I'm talking aboot Lemmy going over to the USA and around the rest of Europe every year, without fail.

Southside Johnny is worth aboot $4. He lives in New Jersey, but he comes to Europe every year without fail.

      Dave is worth god-knows-how-much.

Had a great time on the 20th at the Vegas HOB, met up with bantonelli, Coconut Grove, AlbertR, and a couple of other friends....

Easiest way to tell you were at a show in Vegas ?? Before the show, the voluptuous blonde next to us says "Elvis is here !!!".... Some dude, who obviously is an Elvis impersonator as his day job, is a few feet to our right in normal attire... Got a kick out of that...

Dave was, well what else can I say, normal Dave.... Great show, great setlist, band sounded EXTREMELY tight, just great all around....

Dave's voice sounded very good, hit the high notes well, and very good sustainment as well.....

The great part about playing at a small venue like the HOB, at least for us fanatics, is that just about everyone up close can confidently say that Dave made eye contact with them at least once. I can personally say that Dave was looking right at our group a few times just during "Panama".... Woohoo !!! (OK, I enjoyed it anyway...)

And I'm sorry, but I just continue to disagree with those who knock Brian Young's skills....

Is he Edward Van Halen, or course not, but the guy is still an outstanding guitarist.... You can't play those songs THAT WELL and not be considered otherwise....

Sure, I'd much rather see Ed up there when they cranked into "Unchained", but dammit did it ever sound good !!!!

So once again, Dave put on a great show, it made my Vegas vacation !!!!

. . . and another thing, Ray Luzier was/is a great drummer but you guys are really gonna dig Jimmy Degrasso. He's awesome.

Just got home from the KEY CLUB MORONGO (Palm Springs, CA) GIG.... ABSOLUTELY STELLAR.

Just like living in Paradise....and I don't wanna go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The audience for Dave would not have been complete if it hadn't included some of those who know our guy Dave in a personal way....RAY LUZIER was in the house! TERRY KILGORE had planned to be there, but unable to drive out to the desert just beforehand. Considering it was 107 degrees at Morongo....scorchin.

It's been one of the greatest, most exciting weeks for me.....ALL DAVE ALL NIGHT.....3 Concert Appearances in a Row!

DAVE IS SIMPLY A CLASS ACT THAT NO ONE CAN FOLLOW.

REUNION? If these new "strange" rumors have any truth to them regarding a Van Halen/ROTH-Hagar Venue...........I'm for it.....BUT ONLY AS LONG AS ROTH is the MAIN Headliner and SPAM is simply the opening act.

Another great tidbit from last night's concert and all the concerts I saw so far, (I haven't heard this mentioned much?????)

KEY CLUB MORONGO (Cabazon - Palm Springs, CA) Kicked Major Ass......period.

I saw Dave in Vegas on Thursday and he was spectacular then and was equally amazing at this concert. He also grew up an hour away from the Inland Empire as he mentioned and the crowd went nutz. DAVE ROCKED!!! - Another amazing display of making believers out of a few skeptics who hadn't seen Dave since 1984 or earlier! (I spoke to a few who were convinced he's still got it...the CHARISMA and Energy was sweating out of his pores and into the audience like a fast spreading virus.

Dave was especially amazing (which no one has really mentioned this?) at doing his motorcycle throttle sound with his mouth to the microphone and he plays it off with B-Young trying to work it on guitar with the amp. Dave sounds just like a Harley-Davidson throttling to take off........he had the crowd roaring with those motorcycle sounds - it was very cool. He called this one of his hidden talents!!!

Dave can still kick as high as his head - Dave is the reason that being "51" is the NEW "30" - he was looking stellar, his voice and yells were on key.

DAVE IS THE REUNION....with or without the Sisters, although, if it makes Dave happy to do the actual reunion, I'm so there as long as he's HEADLINING and SPAMtard is the opening Act (if it must include the SPAM).

Wish I could go to D-RO's next gig.......ORLANDO !!!! Guys..... you are in for a Summer Treat that will keep you HOT all winter!!!
