bantonelli, was the Keyclub show as good or better than the Pala show, i.e. better atmosphere, more people, louder, etc.?

The Keyclub show was definintely a better show in the sense that it was more Dave's style, more hard-core fans attended this venue. Dave even had a girl intruder from the audience somehow make her way on stage and she "spooned" him, sliding her hands up and down the sides of his thighs before one of Dave's people (Not Animal) came and grabbed her off stage.

Pala, although a very nice setting with the mountains as part of the backdrop and a beautiful night outside, didn't have quite the excitement. The seating was set up like an outdoor wedding (who sits down at a ROTH concert?) and too much "Blue" hair. Many older people and a few elderly people who were comped rooms at the Pala Casino for their gambling just seemed lost at the concert.

I was standing near an elderly female security guard who seemed offended by Dave's "F-word" description of the couple who were in the back of "Bobby Hatch's" pick up truck when Dave was inspired to write "Dance the Night Awey".

Also, the outdoor concert was not loud enough and the acoustics were better indoors.

Thanks for the info bantonelli. Everything you described about the Pala I kind of saw too (older crowd mostly). But I still really enjoyed it.

Hmmmm...so is he in Reno or Santa Cruz on the 22nd of

                      September?

Here we go again. Mybe the conflicting reports of dates is why

Pollstar has pulled Dave's tour schedule?

This happened earlier in this tour, and last year.

                      Dave's manager is a moron.

Yes I see Toshi has updated his site since yesterday.

                          October dates listed now.

                          I see some more conflicts.

The first two weeks of October are blocked off on Toshi's schedule for

Dave shows so the tour is continuing:D

The Sept. gigs are not conflicts....just bought tickets to both venues. Will stay tuned for accurate tour info.
