I started this thread because I'm surprised to see people on some of the threads praising Bette for his "class." Sorry, but I call bullshit. The man can't help himself. The "shotgun" remark was a dig at Dave. I'm sure Spammy walked on stage hoping to take the high road, and this was about the best he could do.

I'll give the man his due -- he managed to make it through one public appearance -- the first in many years, I think -- without either: (a) shilling for his tequila and clubs; (b) lying about his record sales; or (c) acting completely delusional about his solo career and role in VH's legacy. So it was a big improvement over what he usually does. But he did take a dig at Dave.
