The man is doing good, that crap came from a guy who works for the National Enquirer. What more is there to say about that?

Do not expect a tour in 2007, its not in the plans anymore. Like I said before, there will be a new album before any tour. Look for it in the first few months of 2008.

Yep, I'll be looking for a sober Edward to be touring in the first few months of 2008.

I'll know it will be time to buy tickets to see it because it'll be right around this time when Al Sharpton will sweep all the GOP presidential primaries.

Venom Thrust just posted this at the links.

Eddie's better half told me 10 min. ago that she is NOT aware of any plan's at this time for VH the band to do anything this year. She said (she would know something when she is told) ?? Odd since she is girlfriend and publicist. She also said they are all dealing with the issue at hand a.k.a Eddie's recovery. Ive known her for some time now and for the first time she seems to be out of the loop. I get the feeling that unlike in the past that now they tell her only what they want her to know. I may have lost a useful contact at this point, I would believe that if something were planned in the next few month's she would know now or for some reason she is not in the know. Anyway that is the VERY latest, not much but something.

Tell Ed and Al that it will be helpful to have a band before recording a new CD.

Some dumb bitch on Sirius radio's "Buzzsaw" station today reported the story about "some fan" who got information from Alex at a deli.

Sirius is now getting their information from bad internet rumors?

Between that and the MOTHERFUCKING RIDICULOUS SIGNAL PROBLEMS, I'm really starting to regret dumping XM for Sirius.

There's a whole thread on here somewhere dedicated to that exact story.

              I think bantonelli posted it.

This may or may not be complete horseshit.

Saying that "Ed is off the wagon" is a cheap and easy shot to take because it potentially has a high level of plausibility given Ed's history of alcohol abuse.

Howard Stern's relevance and impact is virtually nil these days, anyway.

I thought Stern was a mate of Ed's. He should keep his mouth shut and support the guy regardless if he's struggling with sobriety.

You're blaming Stern for a fake news story taken from Mike Walker from the Natl. Enquirer?

                          Desperate, man.

                            Easy there, son.

I was listening to Stern back in 1984...and listened all the way up until he left terrestrial radio in favor of satellite.

My comment really referred more to his impact on the current social zeitgeist, and less about his impact on the business of satellite broadcasting.

His impact on general societies opinions is not what it once was, that's all.

You don't have to get all touchy and spring to his defense.

                            Nobody's blaming anyone for anything.

I was merely stating that the story was suspect from the start, because it originated on Stern's show from someone referred to as "the gossip guy."

I didn't know that "the gossip guy" referred to Mike Walker, or that Stern was still doing his weekly schtick with Walker.

Your comment about it being a "fake news story" would seem to indicate that you are inclined to agree with me, so why the hostility?

In the end, a radio personality shouldn't mean so much to you that you have to start arguments about it in an internet forum. And if it does, then you need to get out more.
