Careful, thome. We don't know how many 5 star VIP packages actually went on sale today. Sure makes great press and hype if they sold out in a minute though...hmmm....
I remember a few tours back (Balance tour at Walnut Creek Amp.in Raleigh , I think) - I entered a pact with three of my friends. I physically stood in line at the ticket booth (It was at a record store called "Peaches" at the time - same place I scored front row Roger Waters for Charlotte a few weeks earlier) while the other guys stayed home using their computers to access sales.
I was first in line and my friends finished their transaction at 10:01 AM the morning of...None of us scored even in the first 30 rows on the floor.
The first 20 rows were comp. and corporate reserved and then I suspect there were radio promotions, etc...
In this case it wouldn't surprise me in the least that there is intentional manipulation of the sales to generate precisely the kind of hype they are already receiving.
I remember after the Balance show feeling so screwed over by the band (Sammy was there and the set list sucked ass) that I promised aloud to my friends and myself that I would never pay to see VH in concert ever again.

Just because I won't pay those prices doesn't mean that no one should.

I do feel this tour will sell hot.
I also feel Corporate will buy large amounts of these no matter who is playing, basketball game, whatever.
I also have always felt if I had a band I would have my agent buy up the first 100 tickets at each show ,same kinda thing for any album.
Who Knows..?
I still have no Confirmation on the KC gig and I am somewhat worried I will miss the seats I want As...i am ....eisil....y dis.....tract iD.....the nieghbors cat whata goof she just sits there......dood dooo doot to doooComment

Yep. Glad to see they can still get that kind of cash. I really hope that no one ends up being let down by these guys before its over.....
