I agree about the concern on Edward! However, I feel he knows this is his "reputation at stake" so as long as the addictions are manageable? I feel he will "pull his weight" this time!!

Did anybody else not read the set list? It was really tempting but all I accidentally read was the opening song and the encores. I feel that knowing the set list takes a little of the fun out of it and I prefer to be there wondering what's coming up next.

There is no need to have bass amps miked up.

I've noticed several bassists have gone back to miking their amps, Jack Bruce being one of them. Going direct sucks compared to the sound of going through an amp, because it is too sterile sounding. If you have spent an assload of money on amps like SVTs or the like, then by God that is the tone you're looking for. I blame audio engineers for that shit because they're too lazy to find the sweet spot. Most all of those great bass tones from years past were from miked amps...kind of hard to get that sweet overdriven tone on a DI.
