The whole opening post is awesome, but it lacks precision as to know how the music actually sounds, other than "loud", IMHO.

I thought he did great, yes. There were a couple of times where he
was using that higher octave that I didn't think worked as well, but

To translate: Dave sounds awful. His voice isn't magically going to sound better just because EVH is on guitar.

But I'm still gonna attend.

She confirmed that she was one of maybe 40-50 people there and that Van Halen sounds SMOKIN !! Mark & Brian asked her if the sound is any different w/Wolfie on board? Kelly said "NO." I don't believe her. NO WAY does Dave sound better than the 80's. His voice is shot, and EVH on guitar isn't going to change that.

Translation: You're gonna bitch about something you haven't seen yet and are going to twist everone's words around that has to suit what you think is going to happen. But if he said Dave's voice sucked, you'd be agreeing with him without hearing it.
