VH shows should rock all night!! This song does not rock. Any band should think about what songs their fans would be going I wish they were playing something else right now and toss them the fuck out!!!! Were's girl gone bad? One of Ed's greatest guitar songs, thats VH !!!

I'm glad I'll wait is there, but if they had to get rid of it, I'd want Drop Dead Legs. That's the best song on 1984 for sure.

I actually think that Girl Gone Bad is the greatest Van Halen song ever. What a shame they aren't playing it on this tour.

It was very cool in '84! Ed had his synth turned up loud and the bass literally shook the arena. I think he must've been using Taurus pedals too, I wasn't close enough to see.

I dont understand it, its my fav from 1984. Wow, I never expected when I bought 1984 that I'd be 40 before I ever saw VanHalen. After Roth left, I had zero desire to see them. What a disappointment. I've been lurking around here for several years. Finally joined when It was a definate go for the tour. Keep it together guys, "only" 27 days to go!

Plus the guitar solo is way underated.
I'll wait - good tune - too much radio exposure! Smokin SOLO as WARF mentions, especially if you see the montreal 1984 video boot! Ed "BURNS" on the solo! However, many deep cuts I would like to hear instead, hopefully on future tours!

                        Happy bday, neighbor.

You know, and I'll probably get crucified for this, but I didnt even plan to see them in '84. I got a call the night of the second show and my bud and his girlfriend didn't have a ride to the show. They gave me a free tic for a ride to the show. I was 16 and had only been driving for about 8 months. :D

Instead of playing "I'll Wait" they should of brought Michael Anthony back.

Wow! I'd be bummed about that 1! Back in 84, Aerosmith came to our convention center. All my buds and such gave me big shit cause I had to work that night. I was pissed that I was going to miss them. I heard that Tyler got drunk and fell off the stage shortly before I got off work. What a hoot! I was dishing out some crow for the next week!!

It's just my opinion, but to me "I'll Wait" sounds like a preview of "5150" with better vocals and lyrics.

I'd rather hear I'll Wait, besides, it sounds like MA missing is miniscule compared to DLR missing!!
