          While attending the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona this weekend, an oblivious Edward Van Halen will have his right foot run over while admiring a 1966 Buick Electra 225. Van Halen, who often sports a pair of threadbare and open toed shoes (allegedly) worn during his days as a struggling musician, will require extensive surgery, thus pushing back the recording of a new project, rumored to be ten years in the making.

          In the meantime, High Profile Media will announce sometime in June (via a poorly written newsletter) the success of January's car auction and ironically, the introduction of EVH striped orthopedic shoes for older fans.

                  I'm sticking with the classics.......you gotta go with what works.

                  New tunes recorded with Dave, Ed's new brother, plans for a massive tour...............POW, right in the VH Fans nether regions, self-destruction, bitter backstabbing, long drawn out media bitch fest between the Sisters and DLR......Fuck it, you guys know the rest.

                      Wouldn't be a shock to have nothing at all transpire with the band.

                      What must Roth have been thinking as the summer of 2008 approached, when he considered that the band started the ball rolling in late 2006, and after 18 months all they were able to do was a greatest hits only tour with, what, 100 or so dates give or take a dozen?

                      The Van Halens move at a snail's pace. Apparently now nothing can happen until after Ed gets married in June anyway...I can't imagine Roth wanting to wait around for the Van Halens to pick up the pace, unless he feels Van Halen is all he has left that is worth doing.

Tour a North American tour, a few over seas, then take another year or two off. I personally dont think they have anything to prove.                                                   The Who? Rolling Stones? Led Zep? This is good co. Van Halen keeps.
