I was pulling into my shop parking lot today and, in my world of coincidences spot the back of this gals t-shirt! She was headed into the QuikStop that I share parking lots. I offer $15 bucks for her shirt! She goes into the bathroom and comes out with it in her hands.
What year was this printed and is it official?!

I don't believe so, katie. Believe it or not, the shirts from that era really were that crummy. In fact, Dave Roth makes mention of the t-shirt merchandising business in his "Crazy From The Heat" auto-bio. He states quite candidly that the group actively sought out the same bulk shirts, ink and printing facilities as used by the bootleggers. During the latter stages of Roth's influence, an "officially licensed" VH shirt was barely recognizable from a counterfeit one. This profitable practice would have no doubt continued into the early Hagar era as well.
