Here is an interesting related article concerning investigating and non-action.

Can the SEC Be Sued for Failing to Catch Madoff?

    ....

Overcoming the sovereign-immunity protection is the biggest hurdle, concurs David Bernfeld, a partner at Bernfeld Dematteo & Bernfeld LLC, who represents about a dozen Madoff victims. However, he believes the inspector general's report offers enough ammunition to prove negligence - which is the bullet needed to pierce the sovereign-immunity defense and make the SEC liable.

Or at least a class action by a group of people...

Interesting, but I think the beaks would have to prove the management

Well, if you were to look in the TWITTER thread, you would have already seen that I answered the "verified" question already....

Dave is not big on rehearsal so I'm not worried about his absence, yet. I wish they were working on new material instead but maybe Eddie needs to remember he used to be a great guitarist so he can channel that muse into the new album. Remember reunion came about cuz Ed was jamming w/ Wolfie, that's who helped Dad remember all the cool songs he did w/ Dave.

Also, the more Eddie plays the classic stuff, maybe he'll get back into that type of writing. If he weren't playing the old stuff, any new material would just sound like other "recent" things he has done and not have that classic flavor.

Hoping it's just taking it easy with the hand, like he said, and rehabbing it slowly as not to re-injure it or prolong the healing process. Makes sense to not have the full band there if Ed can't play for long or at a 100% yet. Al lives close to him and he seems to have a great custody agreement with Val so those guys are always around him, why not jam?

To me, hearing Ed talk and seeing the forward momentum of the band....guitar hero and the like, I'm giving a short term pass to the Van Halen camp.

......sure would be nice to hear from Dave, though.

Don't forget it wasn't too long ago that there was assholes screwing with Dave.
Gotta have evidence of it. Actual complaints are needed.
