    If the dates are in september that means they would start rehearsals at least 60 days in advance that puts it in july so we are looking at new music soon. Somebody somewhere will hear the new music and put it at there .

    Actually, even in the "good ol' days" it was not completely unusual for a band on the verge of debuting a new release to play a few shows here and there prior to said release. Generates interest at home and abroad...

    I wouldn't think they would go do this if they didn't think the new album would be complete. What happened to the good old days?     Nah, like we've talked about it other threads, VH has always opened tours in non-major US markets, if not outside the US.... Couple of tours started in Canada....

    I imagine the reasoning was that if there were major bugs to be worked out with the shows, word wouldn't get around as quickly as if they opened in, say, Chicago or New York, etc.....

    Of course, now with virtually every song in every show being filmed by someone with their phones, they can't get away with very much at all.....

    But like VAIN said, I bet we get some great video out of at least one of those Aussie shows.....
