Well...the way it was phrased looks good for VH fans. Between the headliner & VH....which leads me to believe VH comes out last. If a band were coming out AFTER VH it would have said.....between VH & the headliner. Just flip the order of the tweet. So I think this is all just a lot of hub-bub over nothing.

yea, perhaps vh indicated they may tentatively perform next year as well? all speculation at this point i'm just trying to reveal a hopefully positive outlook for everyone

Yeah, but it's the second part ("Between the set of the yet to be announced headiner and V[an] H[alen]” ) that has everyone's attention.

On the other hand, this could really be nothing more than a misinterpretation. Say whomever is playing BEFORE Van Halen is in fact the 2012 headliner. This would make sense, albeit in a goofy way, mainly because it is rendered so poorly. This promoter has already proven himself to be a bit of a helium head anyway, so it sort of adds up.

Did anyone aside from myself happen to notice the 2012 in that statement?

I'm thinking that they're talking about next year's festival already, and if so, it makes sense because obviously it has not been planned based on the tweet(s) and this official-looking statement.

fuck if vh is having drama this early, who knows what to expect down the road
