Hmmm...now where and when have we seen this before? A guy shows up at a site, makes a big splash, gets called upon for his opinions, gets bent out of shape and then in turn starts calling out the site's moderators.

Using the Google search engine, you are more than likely to find at least two VH-related fansites dedicated to the band. You may wish to try them, if you haven't already. In the meantime, you are about done here, although I have a vague suspicion that this isn't the first time you've been booted off of a web site.

If you look back at my original post....I took shots at "planetrock.com", not YOU.

You got pissed and felt attacked because I pointed out that the planetrock.com piece was shitty journalism. 25% of that piece was "news", the other 75% was irrelevant, anecdotal fluff. And the 25% that was NEWS was certainly available through more recognized sources, as you pointed out by serving up the Reuters link with a heaping side dish of snarkiness.

Unless you wrote the piece on planetrock.com, there was no call for you to get your dick in a twist.

We've been through every single rumor and innuendo known to man when it comes to Van Halen.....

So what I'm trying to say is, we're one jaded, pissed off bunch of motherfuckers.....

So yeah, collectively, we've got a short fuse when it comes to things like this...

How did I get bent out of shape? I posted facts that backed up everything I said.

If you dismiss someone as quickly as that and "ban" them, someone who is a passionate enough fan to want to discuss something like this when it's happening (and right or wrong, thought that there was new VH music hidden in the promos) what kind of club are you running? For fans, or not? It seems the only reason I've been banned is because I stood up with language and bravado equal to that used toward me (by you, a moderator.)

Totally understand. I've been hanging around VH on the internet since before the 1996 reunion, and the name escapes me, but the Roth-camp viral site back then... I was always a participant.

But I've been banned, apparently... so I won't get a chance to hang out. Unless "chef" decides to un-ban me, then I can't.

Getting no news about the VH camp pisses me just as much as everybody here who is craving for it from VH themselves,
and especially Dave, whose silence and invisibility is unbearably unnatural.

Now, trying to find info where it could leak from is just human, but safe a couple of sites, what web source was ever really giving information?

Then, either the Grammy's announced Van Halen without any done deal, or VH resigned at the last minute?
Anyway, except for the large TV audience, that ceremony is no place for them to be, as it's about praising sloppy, poppy, sloppoppy musiquette

VH sure couldn't be less communicative than they've been for 3 long years, and it's basically their fault if there have been so much built-up "news",
just because actual news was lacking. Too little info (nearly none at all) from the source itself, and tons of speculation in reaction.
