VH will just say they never announced anything. if it was supposed to be a 'surprise', as even the Grammy tweet said, then they also blew the chances of getting the band at that very moment by letting the secret out. ha.

I had a hunch it would turn out this way. I threw up a post somewhere 'round her from the weekend of 11/19 when Mark Goodman on Sirius said that the VH/Grammy thing wasn't going to happen.

I'm SO fucking glad I didn't waste sleep to watch that steaming pile of shit.

My sympathies to those of you who sat and waited for VH, only to get cornholed again.

Told my wife to put on the Grammy bullshit show last night.

She switches to the channel. We both stare at the screen for a minute. LADY GAGA is dancing around like a fucking moron to some really terrible music, looking like a 2nd-rate MADONNA.

It really sucks.

30 seconds go by.

I look at my wife and say, "Press play on the Blu-Ray player. If Van Halen show up, I can read about it later. I would never get this hour back."

We watched an episode of Dallas instead (true story) from our DVD collection.
