Apparently so. Even worse, the site has started some sort of nebulous "socializing" system as of late, which results in unwanted email alerts if you do not shut down the (extremely limited) user parameters. I have not visited the site in about two years (when it was about the only service available for posting your own musical efforts cheaply on the internet), but have been getting "friend requests" from a so-called poster more commonly known as the Anheuser-Busch corporation. I've spoken with a good number of others annoyed by this ridiculous new practice, and pretty much closed the doors on my account as a result.

Yeah I am gettin' stoked on the news of new VH w/DLR .. but I won't forget how disappointing it was to be a kid watching the MTV world premiere video of the new Van Halen video -only to hear Jump after the long wait.. uh, Jump ... oh man .. what a kick in the shorts after Diver Down's major awesomeness and everything great before then(1984 was saved,imo by H.O.P/G.G.B.) - the Sammy Sound of Van Hagar was always like chewing on tin foil for me while DLR VH seems like Home Run after Home Run .. ... self produced doesn't sound like a good idea from the standpoint of no 3rd party to bounce things off of .. .. man.. I am going to be exited to hear the new stuff - I really hope it is no Me Wise Magic, She's My Machine or Sensible Shoes.. .. please release it while the motorcycles are still on the roads in the North East(I'll probably be here till the sun goes down- goin' crazy!.. from the heat!)... I need some new good riding tunes !
